Tried accessing xorg.freedesktop.org from 3 different machines, it's not willing to let me download

http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/individual/xserver/xorg-server-1.12.3.tar.bz2 fetches fine for me.

The distfiles indeed don't carry that file yet.
Comment 2 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2012-07-14 11:25:51 UTC
Infra: do you have any insight why this file has not appeared on distfiles mirrors yet?

I guess I could add an alternative download URL to xorg-2.eclass or just upload it to /space/distfiles-local

There is a general problem with distfiles recently.

I see checksum.verifier and sha1sum in the script.
The fetcher tries to verify the sha1sum, which isn't created anymore?

Confirmed on the live distfile fetcher.
I pinged ferringb on IRC to take a look.

I ran sed -e s:sha1:sha256:g -e s:SHA1:SHA256:g on mirror-dist.py and it's fetching a lot of files now.
Comment 7 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2012-07-14 20:56:56 UTC
It seems fixed, with only 5 failures now:

Thanks Zac, I guess there should be no more dupes, so let's close this bug.
