I literally just finished a basic stage3, x64 install with xorg and firefox. I've got conservative use flags. When I merge prelink and try to run it, I get this result:

prelink: conflict.c:763: prelink_build_conflicts: Assertion `j < ndeps' failed.
[1]    14639 abort      prelink -amR

I've remerged and ran revdep-rebuild and neither fix the problem.

you must post `emerge --info` with all bug reports

how exactly are you executing prelink ?
