Description Geoff Madden 2012-07-09 06:41:53 UTC
I placed a link from libx264.so.122 to libx264.so.125.
But this not effective,as the processes called are not compatible, with existing file

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge transcode
2.build transcode-1.1.7
3.build fails
Actual Results:
transcode not compiled

Expected Results:
compiled and installed

Please rebuild libav/ffmpeg (whatever of the two you're using) with revdep-rebuild, the x264 updates almost constantly change their ABI signatures.

Turns out revdep reported no files needed updating,so I resync'd the noticed that transcode had been updated to 1.1.7-r1 ,which compiled up fine.
Thanks for the info
