When running noise (http://launchpad.net/noise, from elementary overlay) I get a floating point exception. See my report upstream: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=679365. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Build noise 2. Run noise Actual Results: Floating point exception. Expected Results: Runs without exceptions. This seems to be fixed in gtk+'s git trunk.
Created attachment 317147 [details, diff] Patch containing upstream commits for bug #677809. I added this patch to gtk+ in the elementary overlay. This seems to resolve the problem. I can now run noise without exceptions.
Should be fixed in 3.4.3-r1, thanks for reporting. >*gtk+-3.4.3-r1 (04 Jul 2012) > > 04 Jul 2012; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> -gtk+-3.4.2.ebuild, > +gtk+-3.4.3-r1.ebuild: > Add upstream patches to fix various crashes, hangs, and rendering problems. > Fixes bug #424781 (thanks to Pim Vullers).
