insallation of upgrade to straw fails with the following error:

run /usr/portage/dev-lang/python/files/python-updater (your python modules will be reemerged) and try again.

yep, do what natanel says and it should be fixed. modules need to be compiled for the upgrade between 2.2 and 2.3
