I had got the same error. In the ebuild the directory Flameeyes-hwids-* has to be changed to the new name: gentoo-hwids-* Thereafter the errors gone and all is ok. I attached the changed ebuild, so one can use it, until the new ebuild-version is out

Fixed, I tested on one box and committed to another, as I didn't change the colour of the prompt on the new system.
