Booting freezes after loading alsa modules if i have capabilies in the kernel, either compiled in or through the capability.ko module. If i remove one, or the other, system boots fine. not 100% consistant, but most consistant behavior i can nail down

it is ok to modprobe capability after ALSA is loaded, however

If this is a bug in the upstream sources, which it seems to be from the title of this bug, could you please file a bug at http://bugme.osdl.org if this issue is not solved in the latest development-sources? If this is an issue with gentoo-dev-sources, please try the latest 2.6.3 version.

Thanks!
