Now that the Unisys LZW patent is expired, can the lzw compression kit be integrated with the tiff-3.6.1 ebuild?  Perhaps controlled by a USE variable?

This is already implemented in ebuild.
The ebuild tiff-2.6.1-r1.ebuild already use the patch to lzw compression.
This bug should be marked as FIXED.
