Created attachment 315809 [details] ebuild for kuroo4 0.90.1 Kuroo is a KDE-based Graphical Frontend to Portage. It makes basic package management tasks simple and pretty. It was reliable back in the KDE3 days but the original developer stopped maintaining it and it was left behind in the move to KDE4. It was part of a Google Summer of Code project in 2010 where major progress was made on the port, but not quite enough to release to the general public. I've been working slowly to get some of the remaining bugs out and I finally feel good about releasing it. It's been in gentoo-guis overlay since the GSoC (layman -a gentoo-guis; emerge -atv kuroo4).
Brian (dol-sen) has kindly informed me that the metadata cache that kuroo currently uses is going to disappear soon (http://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev-announce/msg_617a4fc196c18c62c79d584f07c36c69.xml), so I am working on a new version that uses md5-cache, which I will attach to this bug shortly.
Thanks all. Is now in tree available. + 03 Aug 2012; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> +kuroo4-0.90.2.ebuild, + +metadata.xml: + Initial commit. Import from gentoo-guis overlay. Ebuild by Andrew Schenck + <galiven@users.sourceforge.net>, wrt bug #422487.
