Hi there ! I'm working since a few days on the development of a sane-backend for my scanner, which is not supported yet. Before starting any code writing, I have to analyze USB transfers generated by the constructor's driver under win32. A program has been written for GNU/Linux in order to extract scanner's chipset's commands from sniffers' outputs. This program is called "usb-robot" (http://usb-robot.sourceforge.net/). It's only in version 0.2. Development's status seems frozen but developpers are still liable (I managed to contact one of them <pavel@suse.cz>). Maybe it would be a good point to add this app's port in portage tree (section dev-util). You will find a basic ebuild attached to this bug. Julien Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
