Gentoo Forums are full of great howtos, but finding them is difficult. So I propose that new database or at least webpage to be established. Howtos would be added by writers. Howtos would last one year at list if not renewed. Some sort of hierarchy or categorization would be nice. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
The forums have a search functionality. Okay, it doesn't work completely as it should, but it's difficult for us to provide a database. Not only are the howtos on the forum outside our reach (if the howtos mention wrong information we cannot easily update it) they are also way to dynamic and there is hardly any QA (yet alone that bugreporting is totally different for forum issues). What can be done is to migrate the howtos that are really interesting into GuideXML, but linking to the forums is a no-go.
