While the new handbook layout is nice, it's very aggravating to have to print each page seperately. Also, I have to pay for printouts per page. A "printer friendly" format that doesn't use GIGANTIC SUPERBOLD TOPIC HEADERS (the non-"printer friendly" version has _smaller_ headers!) would save me (and others) a few bucks. All in all you guys really need to redo/rethink your "printer friendly" features. Should be easy enough seeing as you use xml and css :P. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the handbook. 2. Start printing each page. 3. Fill the already beleaguered printer queue. 4. Forcefully remove hair in large chunks. 5. Rinse and repeat. Expected Results: At least have a single page for the installation instructions. And take it a little easier on the header font sizes.
I don't think the headers are really that big; it's of course a matter of opinion, but I'd rather keep it like this as it has worked out great. The one-page installation instructions are coming; I'm postponing it every day for no apparent reason, probably just waiting until Xavier kills me for not pushing it :) Hmmm... I have a couple of minutes left, I'll go test his stylesheets...
Xavier has made the necessary changes to allow for one-page viewing. http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook.xml?full=1&style=printable
