A fix for their network driver has been committed to their svn repository, but a release with the fix is not yet available: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/10624 https://www.virtualbox.org/changeset/41548/vbox Also: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1009156
There has way too much changed in VBoxNetFlt-linux.c file to apply this changeset directly. So I'm afraid we have to wait for the 4.1.18 release.
This should be fixed with virtualbox-4.1.18 which is in portage since yesterday. Can you confirm this?
