Description Maxim Britov 2012-06-12 20:33:46 UTC
geeqie doesn't remember source directory if deep >1

Open geeqie, open not first folder, open some subfolder (./ --> ./fold/ --> ./fold/sfold/). Back to .. Geeqie will select first folder, not source.

I found 2 patches in geeqie trackers:

I use this and it works for me
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3127409&group_id=222125&atid=1054682

There is another patch:
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/geeqie/ticket/10

Reproducible: Always

This is an upstream issue, which version do you use (`emerge -pv geeqie`)?

Now media-gfx/geeqie-1.0-r3::maxim USE="exif lcms xmp -doc -lirc"
and 1.0-r2 before.
I just add that patch in my local repo.

Old patch from http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3127409&group_id=222125&atid=1054682 works for me on -r2 and -r3 now

I can't use geeqie without this :)
Try 2012/0614/darktable_files/ and back to 2012/0614/ for example :)

Indeed, that bug bothered me a few times, thanks for checking the tracker!

I'll test them out and add one in a -r4 (after the bunch of patches I added in -r3)
Comment 6 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2012-06-15 09:36:37 UTC
I added the patch from sourceforge ticket in geeqie-1.0-r4, thanks for the report!
