Description Martin Lundwall 2004-02-18 02:46:22 UTC
When I try to build the linux-2.6.3-rc3-mm1 sources I get this error:
CC [M] drivers/video/aty/aty128fb.o
drivers/video/aty/aty128fb.c: In function `aty128_probe':
drivers/video/aty/aty128fb.c:1955: error: too many arguments to function `aty128_find_mem_vbios'
make[3]: *** [drivers/video/aty/aty128fb.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** [drivers/video/aty] Error 2
make[1]: *** [drivers/video] Error 2
make: *** [drivers] Error 2

It is the
Device Drivers --> Graphics support --> [M] ATI Rage128 display support

that is uncorrect.

Both compiled as module and build into the kernel.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select [M] ATI Rage128 display support
2. Compile (make)
3. Look at the error.

Actual Results:
Compilation exits

The computer I have is a Dell C600. Which has the Rage128 card from ATI.
