Here's a new ebuild for gaim and a patch that *seems* to fix the yahoo login, at least I successfully logged in on yahoo with this ebuild.

this patch seems to fix the yahoo login and fixes a crash in the yahoo file
transfer

I'll probably have to massage this into place and get a new diff since we patch yahoo.c so many times already.

Ah.  the patch took right away as-is.  I'll finish building and see how it goes.

Well it built and nothing else breaks.

However it's still not saving my pager port (staying at 5050) so I can't log in from where I currently am anyway.

Yep confirmed that this works from normal machines.  Can't currently change the port so I can't use it from work but that is upstream issue anyway.
