whole compilation log.

I get a compilation error when I attempt to emerge libvncserver.
It seems that "conio.h" is a windows header.

Reproducible: Always

Ok, so the section of code that is including conio.h is enabled if configure cannot find a working gettimeofday function.

It looks like the test for the gettimeofday function is failing because the linker cannot find libgnutls.

configure:23989: checking for gettimeofday
configure:23989: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -o conftest -march=native -O2 -pipe -Wall -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--as-needed conftest.c -lz -ljpeg -L/usr/lib64 -lgcrypt -lgpg-error -L/usr/lib -lgnutls -lws2_32 >&5
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lgnutls
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lws2_32
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure:23989: $? = 1

Do you have net-libs/gnutls installed? If so, what version?

No I didn't, so I installed gnutls as you said. Then I ran "emerge libvncserver" and worked ok.
It seems that the problem is in the package dependencies.
Comment 7 Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2012-06-06 15:49:44 UTC
Yeah, it looks like xmw added the gnutls use flag on 16 Nov 2011, but did not add the appropriate use_with call to src_configure.

Should be fixed in CVS. Wait about an hour, emerge --sync, and then give it another test with gnutls installed please.

Comment 8 Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2012-06-06 15:50:13 UTC
(In reply to comment #7)

Actually, please test WITHOUT gnutls installed. :)
Comment 9 vasconcelosfer 2012-06-06 18:26:30 UTC
Working.
Thanks!
