Unfortunately prism54.org no longer carries the firmware needed for the drivers:
http://prism54.org/firmware/

This means the ebuild doesn't work anymore.  Perhaps Gentoo can distribute these files?

i wouldn't expect gentoo to distribute these files if there are licensing issues but it should be possible to automate downloading the windows package and extracting the firmware from it.

Okay, should be fixed in CVS. Please sync and test. See: http://prism54.org/firmware/ for latest. Seems like the one dev has decided to continue distributing them.
