while updating from portage 2.0.49-r21 to 2.0.50-r1:

looks like it is just the error message. the ebuild continues (removes old version), then portage
is just fine afterwards.

Doesn't seem to be popping up in .50-r9, closing.
Reopen if it is ongoing.
