Description Jan Kundrát (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-17 09:43:10 UTC
I'm using GRP installation from 2003-09-11 (or -11-09, not sure), w/o updates. When I click on the help icon in kde, nothing happens (except for blinkking mouse cursor, for a while). After launching khelpcenter manually, I get error message "cannot open libpcreposix.so.0", which has been fixed by emerge -k libpcre.
after this khelpcenter starts up and I'm able to look at "UNIX man pages" and "Browse info pages", but any other category produces message:
Error while loading ... (name of help page, I think) - Could not start process
Unable to create io-slave
klauncher said: Error loading kio_help

I don't know how to fix the latest thing, but I haven't spared much time testing.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
