A new version is out. The first chunk of the globals patch can be removed. Nowhere in the source can we find a "globals stop_server". Updated patch follows Byte compiling fails because of some stupid syntax errors :(. Patch follows.

Thank you for the report! On two accounts: 1) upstream changed their download page so my scripts for watching upstream failed to notice the change. 2) for the patches. I looked through the code and it looks ready for python-2.7, so I upped PYTHON_DEPEND="2:2.7" from "2:2.5" Its working at my end. If there's any failure you notice, reopen the bug and let me know.
