I'm not quite sure if I did this correctly, but this pulls the latest snapshot of kvirc. kde-apps.org calls it beta3, so I used that for a version.

Figures that it isn't building off the latest snapshot...but here it is if anyone is looking.

The kvirc devs have frozen CVS, so this might not be needed soon. Release is apparently getting close.

I'm not a net-irc dev, so I won't touch the bug, just adding an FYI.

3.0.0 should be available now, see Bug 48255, closing this Bug. Also CVS-Snapshots-builds of packages should not be avoided in portage/Gentoo.

Sorry, error in my last comment, should be "should be avoided in portage/Gentoo.", look at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/policy.xml#doc_chap3, Item "CVS sources policy " for an explanation why.
