When printing English version of x86 Installation guide to an A4 printer lines are chopped about 6 characters from the right hand edge. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Which lines? All of them? I just printed the first 2 pages on A4 and they printed OK. Do check your print settings please. I also noticed the right margin is too big (minor stylesheet issue). Maybe you can try with http://dev.gentoo.org/~neysx/fullguide/gentoo-x86-install.html Please note that the official guide is now our handbook. Visit http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook.xml?part=1 You can also find experimental all-handbook-at-once at http://dev.gentoo.org/~neysx/fullguide/fullbook-en.html or for a printable version (long) http://dev.gentoo.org/~neysx/fullguide/fullbook-en-print.html
The printable version of the documentation is printable afaik. I've printed out all Gentoo documentation some time ago without issues after a change to the style=printable stylesheets.
The document in question is the installation guide for X86 available from the left hand column of the Gentoo home page. All line are trucated greater than a certain length (I've not counted exactly but between 5/10 characters are missing). I first noticed the problem sometime ago at home but then on Monday of this week printed to an A4 printer at work with exactly the same result.
The references to the x86 installation guide (and other architecture-specific guides) have been removed a couple of hours ago.
Thanks for this guys.
