When I was configuring the kernel on my pmac 8500/150, I hit the down arrow after selecting an option in a submenu. I wanted to go to an option three options below where I was, so I hit the down arrow two more times. Menuconfig gave me a nice message that said my config options were *not* saved. I gave menuconfig a dirty look (real comment censored -- use your imagination.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get a slow pmac. 2.In menuconfig, go to a suboption, and select something with several more options below it. 3.Immediately arrow down several times. Actual Results: Instead of moving the cursor downward, the down arrow seemed to act like the escape key should act, exiting one level at a time. Because the computer's response is slow, the user doesn't see/learn the buggy effect of the down arrow until he has lost his menuconfig settings :~-( Expected Results: The down arrow should have moved the cursor down. If the cursor was at the last option, the down arrow should have had no effect, or at most a beep.
