Description Sebastian Pipping gentoo-dev 2012-05-22 08:07:54 UTC
As this keeps users from installing XFCE on their fresh installation from Gentoo, the issue is quite critical.

FYI 1.4.3 builds fine.
Comment 3 404 Error 2012-05-22 11:44:54 UTC
Same here. My /var/tmp/portage/x11-libs/libX11-1.4.4/temp/automake.out says:

***** automake *****
***** PWD: /var/tmp/portage/x11-libs/libX11-1.4.4/work/libX11-1.4.4
***** automake --add-missing --copy

configure.ac:17: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.11.5,
configure.ac:17: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.ac:17: comes from Automake 1.11.1. You should recreate
configure.ac:17: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.
Comment 4 404 Error 2012-05-22 11:50:03 UTC
x11-libs/libX11-1.4.99.901 is not affected by the problem

Please retry with the eaclocal fix I've just committed.

I was affected by the same problem. Rev 1.50 of /eclass/autotools-utils.eclass fixed the problem for me.

Thanks!
