Issue command: qpkg -f /usr/kde/3.2/bin/kopete Response: kde-base/kdenetwork * If check ebuild for kdenetwork or http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?kdenetwork-3.2.0 Says: KDE network apps: kopete, kppp, kget. kmail and knode are now in kdepim. I only have kde3.2 installed, removed previous ebuilds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. qpkg -f /usr/kde/3.2/bin/kopete 2. Response: kde-base/kdenetwork * 3. Actual Results: See Above. Expected Results: For qpkg or online docs to specify which package has kopete. Further study shows that online database appears in error. Previously put DO_NOT_COMPILE in my make.conf, so didn't have kopete. Someone on kde forum suggested something so wanted to remerge it and try to see if could finally get it working. I emerged kdenetwork and not kdepim and got kopete reinstalled. So it would appear that online database is wrong. Checking my portage logs shows that kdenetwork was last thing emerged and don't see kdepim in there. Part of kdenetwork log from portage: checking if kopete should be compiled... yes
Geeeshh!!!!! Wrong. Sorry. It would appear that need glasses. Maybe changing the line: "KDE network apps: kopete, kppp, kget. kmail and knode are now in kdepim." Mistook the period for comma. How bout: "KDE network apps: kopete, kppp, kget. Packages kmail and knode are now in kdepim."
should be fixed.
