Have you tested if it works at all? If so, OK. I'll probably add this as a new package: dracut-extras.

No, I'm not sure I have the skills needed to test it manually (unpackaged).

But I would think that the module works fine (not just half-baked code) since (1) Dracut uses the bootchart module in their official documentation (as their first-and-only example under "adding dracut modules", see link above) and also (2) bootchart2 also includes instructions for using this dracut module in bootchart2's README file.

I have added the module to sys-kernel/dracut-018-r1 (without rev-bump). New flag should appear. Please test.
