There is a new version 0.15.0 for x11-drivers/xf86-input-wacom, renaming the ebuild seems to be enough to get it working. This version seems to fix some memory leaks and a buffer overrun (According to git changelog).

This has now been committed to the tree, sorry for the delay in testing.
