When opening page with flash opera freeze for about 30 seconds and then output this to console: opera: Plug-in 9388 is not responding. It will be closed. opera: Define environment variable OPERA_KEEP_BLOCKED_PLUGIN to keep blocked plug-ins. This happens for several months, and while this time I've upgraded both opera and flash several times but this issue wasn't fixed. So, today I investigated this issue, and found many reports about this on opera's and other forums. Looks like only available workaround is downgrading flash. I've tested several flash versions, including already removed from portage, and found latest flash version which works just fine is 10.1.102.64-r1. Next version 10.2.152.27 doesn't work, and all other versions up to current 11.2.202.235 doesn't work too. I've tried with/without vdpau and sse2check USE flags and both 32/64-bit versions of 11.2.202.235 - in all configurations it doesn't work. I'm using amd64 hardened system, but there are reports on forums with same issue from people who don't use gentoo (and so this isn't looks like hardened-related issue) and who use x86. In firefox flash-11.2.202.235 works just fine, so this is opera-specific issue.
I forget to add, this happens not on all sites, but on many of them. For example, on http://www.kongregate.com/ and in last days even on youtube.
