Patch from Boost upstream

This bug was found and fixed in original Boost trunk. Details are here: (https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/6794).

I fixed that for myself and actually would like to see that upstream. See my attachements for details.

These are not even the latest revisions of gcc or boost. Please sync your tree and try again, boost-1.49.0-r1 built fine here with gcc-4.6.3 on amd64.

Like Jory said, sync your tree and try again

My ebuild worked out. I wonder if the Boost developers confirmed the bug and made the patch why you don't want to accept it just because you cannot replicate the issue on your own?
Comment 7 Andrew Udvare 2012-05-16 00:45:32 UTC
Syncing does not work yet. I am up to date as of about 10 minutes ago.

The ebuild and patch here works (tested amd64 GCC 4.6.2)

Why are you not using gcc-4.6.3? I can't reproduce your problem and I am using gcc-4.6.3. I will not apply this patch unless someone reproduce it with gcc-4.6.3

Yes if gcc-4.6.3 is able to workaround the problem then I don't want to apply yet another patch for boost. After all, gcc-4.6* is masked and you should always use the latest version
