Description Stuart W. Finlayson 2004-02-13 17:43:14 UTC
After upgrading to KDE 3.3 I noticed that frequently when running MPlayer in fullscreen mode that the bottom of the frame is cut off from about twice the height of the kicker panel to the bottom of the screen--it's not blank, it just isn't there (you can see the kicker panel and a portion of the desktop).

I did notice that toggling fullscreen mode (pressing f twice) seems to fix the problem.

Also, I have already tried re-merging MPlayer, and every variance of the -fstype flag, nothing fixes the problem completely.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run MPlayer in fullscreen mode
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Occasionally, does not open fullscreen correctly.

Expected Results:
Open fullscreen consistantly.

I saw similar problems on my two systems.
It seems to have been dealt with in the latest stable mplayer (1.0_pre4).
Comment 2 Stuart W. Finlayson 2004-05-03 18:40:20 UTC
Yeah, the new version seems to fix the problem.
