I looked for a digest-qt-docs-3.3.0 file, but I didn't find one

the 3.1.2 ebuild looks like it just needs to be renamed if the file is present

Reproducible: Always

invalid, part of qt-*.ebuild -> +doc use flag
Comment 2 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-13 09:39:27 UTC
it's in the normal qt ebuild now, not a separate ebuild
Comment 3 Aaron Peterson 2004-02-13 09:44:27 UTC
when did it swap to a useflag? and where's the memo?

Would it be possible to also have it as an ebuild?

I just installed it, but had to do an ebuild file.ebuild digest (whatever that means)
after renaming it.

I was a little concerned when I clicked on the documentation button and it started poping up warnings (designer)

Maybe have the doc flag be a negative?
or even more general... cascading use flags?

Where developer-docs implies all of the documentation , and qt-docs could be removed from that or added on it's own?

I'm not saying that the docs should be on everyone's system by default, that would be wastefull... but changes tend to pop up and the least opportune time.

warnings in advance are so nice, even if it is just a few days, and posted... like with an rss feed.

It's always been a use flag - qt-docs was dependent on the doc use flag, and that's the way it stayed in the new ebuild as well.

I don't understand what you mean by a warning. You can search the ChangeLog if you like, but it's been quite a few months ago.
