Description Joonas Kortesalmi 2004-02-12 08:08:41 UTC
Feature request: xmms ebuild should install itself to KDE menu system so that the user didn't have to find out how KDE menus are edited. Ebuilds are supposed to do most of the work for the user and USE=kde with xmms should be able to insert itself to the menu.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xmms
2. start KDE
3. see that it's not in the KDE menu ;)
Actual Results:
xmms didn't appear in the KDE menu.

Expected Results:
Appear in the KDE menu?

16:06|moo~% emerge -vp xmms

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

this is fixed in the latest xmms ebuilds, but you cou've used kappsearch or something like that to add in non-kde applications to the menu.
