Dear Cluster Team, Corosync in Gentoo is getting seriously outdated, current Gentoo version is not supported anymore [1]. "1.3.5 (stable) 10/04/2012 Unsupported old stable release" Also new versions include cool new features [2]. "Automatic ring recovery works starting with corosync 1.4, that means whenever a ring fails due to network connectivity interruption, on restoration of network connectivity, corosync will re-enable the failed ring automatically." Please update the ebuild! [1] http://corosync.org/doku.php?id=releases [2] http://lists.corosync.org/pipermail/discuss/2011-November/000237.html
Hi Lorand, thanks for reporting this. Indeed we've been drifting on this one :) +*corosync-1.4.3 (16 May 2012) +*corosync-1.3.5 (16 May 2012) + + 16 May 2012; Ultrabug <ultrabug@gentoo.org> -corosync-1.3.1.ebuild, + -corosync-1.3.3.ebuild, +corosync-1.3.5.ebuild, +corosync-1.4.3.ebuild: + Version bump, drop old, fix #412787. + This is now live in portage. I also saw that v2.0.0 is available but the lack of libqb requires a bit more work than I can do right now. I'll do my best to look into it soon. Cheers
Thank you!
