Description slynn@granite-mtn.net 2004-02-11 10:59:34 UTC
I have successfully emerged and used dev-java/ant-1.6.0-r3 and r2 on a ppc (IBook2). When you get a chance would you add ~ppc to the KEYWORDS? It haven't totally tested out the optional ant packages, but at least the following install as well:

dev-java/ant *
dev-java/ant-optional *
dev-java/antlr *
dev-java/bcel *
dev-java/blackdown-jdk *
dev-java/bsh *
dev-java/commons-beanutils *
dev-java/commons-collections *
dev-java/commons-logging *
dev-java/commons-net *
dev-java/ibm-jdk *
dev-java/java-config *
dev-java/jdepend *
dev-java/jsch *
dev-java/junit *
dev-java/jython *
dev-java/log4j *
dev-java/oro *
dev-java/regexp *
dev-java/rhino *
dev-java/xalan *
dev-java/xerces *

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge dev-java/ant
2.
3.

Actual Results:
dev-java/ant and optional libs install on ppc (IBook2)

Ok, this has been added to ~ppc along with all the dependencies. Tested as well.
Comment 2 David Holm (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-24 23:35:37 UTC
ant-1.6.0 will be pulled out of ~ppc until the jdk-1.4* mess will be resolved
Comment 3 Jochen Maes (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-05 10:46:39 UTC
jdk mess is solved and putted them back to unstable
