Zpatterns is Zope's integration toolkit - it allows objects within Zope and python to be quickly mapped to objects on other systems. As with many things in Zope, it seems odd at first and then when you know it, it's a very handy thing. Now that Gentoo & Zope play nicely together, I would like to request an enhancement - spesifically that somebody creates an ebuild for the usefull Zope product. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Note: This is not a bug. Actual Results: Information on Zpatterns can be found here: http://www.zope.org/Members/pje/ZPatterns Thanks!
please attach an ebuild
as on zope.org is version 0.4.3p2 dated to 2001, and my search on google shows that this software is not maintained since then. I found project on sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/zpatterns/, which contains slightly modified version of zpatterns (ZedPatterns-0-4-3p2-transactionagents-005) but it only few months newer (Dec 2001). So my recomendation is WONTFIX :( because: 1. its going to be hard to maintain this software 2. its propably not widely used now. any comments ?
please feel free to reopen bug if something on zpatterns development changes.
