It's already magically available in kdesdk-3.2.0

It could be interesting to install it in a stand alone way for someone who use for example, gnome...

(btw, we're at 1.2.1 already)

Isn't it then a good idea to just let a fake umbrello-1.2.1.ebuild depend on kdesdk? btw, just in case, kdesdk has umbrello already as 'blocking', so a standalone ebuild wouldn't do much harm.

you're getting into that gray area of having portage support meta packages that comes up every once in a while.

until someone gets something in stone, emerging kdesdk is the only way we can support it, unfortunately.
