this isn't going to happen until zfs is first given keywords for arches. also, it can't be used on x86, or at least its ebuild indicates this.

after reading through the outline...yeah, i can safely say i don't want this in the main doc repo. that's a lot of unmasking and haxx to get it added, and we're only supposed to track stable, supported packages. not all the...fun...stuff that may be present on the LiveDVDs, which we have nothing to do with.

what prompted this doc?

My bad, habit of mine to always put docs-team in Cc for docs related topics ;-) This one isn't though, more to keep track of information as it flows.
