At least media-plugins/audacious-plugins-3.2.1 and media-plugins/audacious-plugins-3.2.2-r1 can be compiled with libav-9999 (tested with libav from 2012-02-19) via the virtual: - ffmpeg? ( >=media-video/ffmpeg-0.7.3 - !media-video/libav ) + ffmpeg? ( >=virtual/ffmpeg-0.9 )
So I discussed this with audacious upstream and the conversation basically ended with: "If you want libav support, use at your own risk/unsupported", so i'm resolving this bug WONTFIX. Most of the things that make libav different from older ffmpeg releases have been merged into ffmpeg as well at this point so....
