Hi,
I'm on AMD64.
libvirtd-0.9.10-r4 crashes on:
info : qemuDomainSnapshotLoad:330 : Scanning for snapshots for domain ...

To solve the problem for now, I have installed one version back:
emerge -q =app-emulation/libvirt-0.9.8 

It seems that this problem is known:

Please use libvirt-0.9.11 or better yet libvirt-0.9.11.3
