Bug 41195 – media-libs/freetype patch fails

When I try to emerge KDE it gets to the point of downloading and installing freetype but the freetype package is corrupt and told me to send a bug report in.  It also told me to put the contents of the file in here but when i put the contents on a disk to load it in windows, my windows system tells me that I have to format the disk.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I type Emerge KDE
2. It downloads media-libs/freetype
3. KDE stops emerge because freetype failed

Actual Results:  
It fails

Expected Results:  
It should of loaded so that I may continue to install KDE.  With out this 
package I cannot install any desktops because they all require freetype

we need to know what goes wrong, we need output.

Have you tried redownloading the source package btw ?
