Version 2.4.7 of DAR is out.

Considering that a simple rename of the ebuild would fix this bug, I can certainly understand that no one has taken the time to do so in the last 3 months.

Nevertheless I would really appreciate if someone is able to take a day of work at some time to do this and close this bug.

I can confirm, that this (=simply renaming the ebuild) also works for dar-2.4.8.
latest ebuild in the tree is dar-2.4.2, so this ebuild hasn't been touched since over a year, please update.

Please update to 2.4.8 as previous versions have a bug where an incremental archive will not remove deleted directories (see discussion here: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=29665906)

2.4.9 is now in portage.
