Description guaka 2004-02-10 13:28:45 UTC
mplayer 1.0pre3 repeats stuff after playing for a minute or so. I'm using Xfree 4.3.99.902. This happens both with MPEG and Real stuff.

It repeats a very short fragment of both audio and video and then it simply does nothing.

I tried Xv and directfb output. Tried OSS and ALSA.

Portage 2.0.50-r1 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.3.2, glibc-2.3.3_pre20040207-r0, 2.6.2)

Comment 1 guaka 2004-02-10 15:01:29 UTC
I just downmerged, and the same happens with 1.0pre2...

There is also a font problem, both in pre3 as in pre2:

Cache fill: 0.00% (0 bytes)

Might be related to http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38810
I'll now try to play without display power management.
Comment 4 guaka 2004-02-10 15:38:25 UTC
Not related to DPMS... :(
Comment 5 Brian Harring (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-29 00:44:53 UTC
Still an issue w/ pre4?
Comment 6 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-17 23:46:48 UTC
Need to make sure this issue still exists with new versions of MPlayer.
