mplayer 1.0pre3 repeats stuff after playing for a minute or so. I'm using Xfree 4.3.99.902. This happens both with MPEG and Real stuff. It repeats a very short fragment of both audio and video and then it simply does nothing. I tried Xv and directfb output. Tried OSS and ALSA. Might be related to http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38810 I'll now try to play without display power management.

Still an issue w/ pre4?
Need to make sure this issue still exists with new versions of MPlayer.
