Description Sebastian Pucilowski 2012-04-10 03:39:20 UTC
Attempting to `emerge -Dup world` gives the following:

* Missing digest for '/usr/portage/sys-apps/portage/portage-2.2.0_alpha97.ebuild'
* Missing digest for '/usr/portage/sys-apps/portage/portage-2.1.10.53.ebuild' * Missing digest for '/usr/portage/sys-freebsd/freebsd-ubin/freebsd-ubin-8.2.ebuild'

Has been happening for a few days now, resyncs have not corrected it. Deleting /usr/portage/* and allowing it to resync and download the tree has not corrected it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -Dup world

Expected Results:
No warnings should be given.

make.conf:

CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=native"
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
USE="symlink mmx sse sse2 minimal sqlite ncurses threads -ipv6 -cups -smtp -mail -sound"

You shouldn't use mirrors that aren't official and monitored. So, I'm going to close this report as invalid.

You can find valid mirrors here: http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors-rsync.xml
You can find if the mirror is up to date here: http://mirrorstats.gentoo.org/rsync/

And if you are in doubt, you should use the Gentoo managed mirrors rsync.gentoo.org. (If you remove the SYNC variable from make.conf, you will get this setting as the default.)

Thanks.
