Description David Grant 2004-02-10 09:59:35 UTC
We should definitely include the parts library with the qcad ebuild, and automatically set the parts library path in the config files.

I'm working on a patch to the ebuild right now.

I think this should rather go into a seperate qcad-parts or so, this is a 12 MB download which is not strictly required for running qcad.

How about a USE flag instead?

It seems pretty required for me. At least the border templates are. Maybe we could just install the border templates and forget about the screws, and crap like that, which I really don't need.

Maybe I'll manage to do this next week. Quite busy currently, though.

The parts library is in portage now, as a seperate package in app-sci/qcad-parts - when latest qcad is installed and qcad-parts is not already present, it will show a hint that you can emerge this package to get the library.
