It would be nice if a reporting tool for Amavis were included in portage.  This stats package seems to do a nice job.  Download link:

With the release of amavisd-new "version 2", the stats have changed significantly. Check out the new release, Bug 56233 for more details. I'll keep an eye on this stats package. If it starts to support the new db stats method, I will add it to portage.

The sites notes amavis-stats2 should be available in Q1 2005. I'm keen on this package too, so, if the new version works as expected I'll knock up an ebuild.
