I am not sure what all deps are required to merge this package but I would really need to have it in stable.

Since you've done most of the work on this so far, perhaps you should co-maintain it with us? Anyway, it looks good; sorry for taking so long to reply.

dev-python/iniparse-0.4 will also need stabilization, AFAICT.

The problem is that I don't get the python eclasses, I basically just copy whats in other ebuilds and pray that i didn't screw up :)

It was previously needed by libreoffice so thats the reason why I had to fire it up. And by accident i found out that it has rather splendid function to convert ts files to po and vice versa.

So yep if you wanna just add me to maintainers.
