I twice tried `emerge mit-krb5`, but it failed. This is my first emerge of this package, and I've included the last lines of output before the failure as an attachment. Earlier today I updated to gcc-3.3.2-r5 which may have led to the problem. (I have rebooted since the gcc update.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.`emerge krb5` 2. 3. Actual Results: !!! Anybody using kerberos can have a look here please?
I'm obtaining the same here Gentoo Base System version 1.4.3.13 Portage 2.0.50-r1 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.3.2, glibc-2.3.2-r9, 2.6.1-gentoo-r1) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.1-gentoo-r1 i686 Mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+ Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.58 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.7.7 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O3 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O3 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="3dnow X acpi afs alsa apache2 apm avi berkdb bidi cdr cjk crypt cups doc dvd encode esd evo foomaticdb gdbm gif gnome gpm gtk gtk2 imap imlib java jikes jpeg junit kerberos ldap libg++ libwww mad maildir mbox mcal mikmod mmx motif mozcalendar mozilla mpeg ncurses nls oggvorbis opengl pam pcmcia pda pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline samba sasl sdl slang slp spell ssl svga tcpd tiff truetype trusted unicode usb wmf x86 xml xml2 xmms xv zlib" Any ideas, workaround?
As a workaround I downgraded to gcc-3.2.3-r3, emerged mit-krb5, then upgraded back to gcc-3.3.2-r5.
Run into this bug after doing an emerge -u system :-(( I'm getting the same error as described in the attachment (I'm using gcc-3.3.2-r5 too).
1.3.1 works fine here. Can you please try it?
Hi guys - if 1.3.1 checks out fine - what is the possibility of getting it to stable?
I had the exact same issue-- 1.2.7 and 1.2.8 would both exit with the same error; 1.3.1 worked just fine though.
I don't see any reason why 1.3.1 shouldn't be made stable.
Can you guys see to it please?
the varargs bug again
1.3.1 is stable now
