Due reasons explained in: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=301909#c2 Will wait for Anthony approval (as he is waiting for upstream reply) before cleaning anyway Reproducible: Always
Very dead! Time to day good-bye. Treecleaners, please go ahead and clean up. http://marc.info/?l=thttpd&m=133261910628770&w=2
Hi. Following up the discussion on the thttpd mailing list, I'd like thttpd to stay in the portage tree. I am aware there are issues to be addressed and I can personally volunteer to help Anthony with bug tracking. I hope others will contribute both to the discussion and to the maintanance of the package. Greetings, Andrea
I think Anthony will try to make it stay a bit longer, but I don't know why people want to use this unmaintained server instead of migrating to a more maintained one :/

(In reply to comment #4) > @Pacho, please put the treecleaning on hold for a bit. No problem, it won't be treecleaned now, specially since it has a maintainer that is trying to handle this issue ;)
Okay, I can't believe I did this, but I actually forked the code: I totally redid the build system to make it autotool-ish and gentoo friendly, I set up a git repo, tarbarball archive, email list and bug tracking. The new project is called sthttpd where s = "still" or "supported" or whatever. Here's a link to the thttpd email where I announced it: http://marc.info/?l=thttpd&m=133356491814291&w=2 And, I finally cleared out that backlog of patches we had on the gentoo tree. I guess its safe to close this resolved.
:O Great!
