For me it looks like mutt is missing. True?

I think it is because /var/mail is a symbolic link to /var/spool/mail, and
/var/spool/mail doesn't exist.

Taking a hint from Tristan I created /var/mail on my system ( I did not have
/var/mail or /var/spool/mail so I just created /var/mail ). Balsa will now
compile with out the libmutt error.

Fixed ("workarounded") again in balsa-2.0.1-r1
